One of the great challenges of designing product with a license from the NFL Players Association is color limitation. Since the Players Association license is not related to the league license, we cannot combine a team’s primary colors on any of our products, nor can we use any team logos or geographic location references.

So, we really have to think out of the box with our creative. Looking at our newest Randall Cobb design, we literally put him back in the box… featuring a packing crate from the ACME Packing Company. Unable to use the color yellow with green, we illustrated cheese and “Corn on the Cobb.” The design is topped off with Cobb’s #18 in stencil font marked outside of the crate.

UPDATE 12/07/2012: We’ve since re-purposed this design for one of our charity shirts. $5.00 from the purchase of this shirt goes to the Blessings in a Backpack organization to feed children at Randall Cobb’s hometown elementary school in Alcoa, Tennessee.

This makes a truly unique product for our customers. Randall Cobb fans can purchase this shirt design in Men’s & Women’s sizes. Officially licensed by the NFL Players Association.
