FANTAG has recently launched a Charity Tee project for a number of NFL players including Brandon Marshall, Charles Tillman, Justin Tuck, Randall Cobb, Sean Weatherspoon, and Vernon Davis. I’m very proud to be doing this, as $5.00 from each sale goes toward the player’s foundation or favorite cause.
This is definitely something we’d like to expand on in the future and year round, as it gives back to communities with needs.
It’s been especially fun to design these shirts, as it poses a nice challenge of representing both the player and the cause. One my favorites is the shirt I created for New York Giants defensive end Justin Tuck.
Justin Tuck, and wife Lauran, founded R.U.S.H. for Literacy (Read, Understand, Succeed, and Hope), an organization that provides books and positive reinforcement for young readers in New York City, central Alabama and New Jersey.
The R.U.S.H. shirt design features word game tiles that spell out “Tuck” and the foundation’s name. A very simple, yet clever way to deliver a message that advocates literacy. Playing defensive end, Tuck is always rushing the passer… so the back of shirt features “#91 R.U.S.H.” and the FANTAG logo.
Fans can give back and purchase all of our Charity Tees in Men’s, Women’s & Kid’s sizes. Officially licensed by the NFL Players Association.
