In the ‘88 season, Billy Ripken randomly wrote “Fuck Face” on the bottom of his BP bat with a Sharpie… so he could quickly find it on the rack. Little did he know it would end up on a baseball card. The production team for ’89 Fleer overlooked it and, a PR disaster was created.Continue reading
