Really happy with how the full-size Dave Parker piece came out. Experimenting with plexiglass has produced amazing results! I used twenty of his 1980 @topps Superstar 5×7 cards for this one. 24"x24" square… 34"x34" when hung as a diamond. Dave Parker was friggin’ awesome. In 1976, the Pirates were on a losing streak, so Parker wore this t-shirt to the ballpark to get his teammates goin’. The photo of him is classic! Flew home last night and completed the latest Bazooka… Diamond No. 28! This one features reprints of 1963 @topps Roberto Clemente and 1969 Nolan Ryan to highlight the backs of the cards that featured comic strips from the Bazooka Joe illustrators. Noticed a funny error on the back of Nolan’s card too…. “unleased” his fastball.Continue reading
